How was the accommodation?
No accommodation on site but R3000 housing allowance per month.

How was the level of supervision and teaching?
Amazing. Always a senior around and most of them are happy to teach.

How was the clinical exposure?
Very good. I learnt how to confidently manage all common conditions in every block. I learnt how to do all the important procedures.

Was any of the following available?
Yes - X-Rays, Blood Gas Machines, Ultrasounds, CT-Scans, NHLS, Blood bank on site.

Academics available?
Diplomas, Fellowships, Courses (BLS/ACLS/ITLS/ATLS) etc.

Did you have a social life? What kept you busy/entertained?
Lovely student town with lots of coffee shops, cafe's and bars to go out with friends and fellow interns. 2 big gyms. All major fast food places. 2X woolworths food. Gholf course with driving range. A hidden gem for anyone looking for a small hospital with lots of hands-on experience for internship. Not as academic as bigger hospitals but a good combination of academic and clinical experience.
