How was the accommodation?
Very poorly maintained. Always get the run around when you want something fixed.

How was the level of supervision and teaching?
Depends on the department. Good supervision in paediatrics and ED. Not much supervision in other departments.

How was the clinical exposure?
Family medicine is good. On the surgical departments not much curring time is given to interns. In General surgery: none whatsoever and O+G, you are lucky if you get to do at least 1 full c/section. You just have to make most of the time you get doing maternity in district, there you can push some c/s.

X-Rays, Blood Gas Machines, Ultrasounds, CT-Scans, NHLS.

Did you have a social life? What kept you busy/entertained?
There's a beach. A small mall with a cinema. There's ziplining.

Any general comment/advice?
If you are looking to specialize in paediatrics, internal medicine or anaesthesia then Port shepstone is the place for you. If you want to specialize in surgery or O+G then run away.
