    Side notes
    • Interviews are shorter than you'd expect, doesn't mean it went badly
    • If you have to choose between virtual and physical, choose physical.
    • For clinical questions, what they're looking for is whether you think systemically or are all over the place. Approach by primary then secondary survey makes it easier to work through it and it does not miss much. They don't ask dosages.
    • They'll always ask if you have any questions at the end
    • It takes a while for them to schedule interviews after applying,sometimes even months
    • Academic circuits keep a shorlist,so you might not make it on the post you applied for but be called when another ones comes up
    • If you get informed that interview was successful by maybe department secretary,ask for details of HR person that you can follow up with
    • All of them will ask if you have pending cases against you or any reason you might be unsuitable for post.will also ask if you are happy with panel
    • They are serious about reference checks. Ensure you've put people who'll be willing to fill in reference check forms
    Apply early and apply to many places.The more interviews you attend,the easier it becomes.Might take a few interviews to get a post(esp reg post),keep applying and showing up.
    ACLS,FCP 1,HIV DIP,AMLS are basics nowadays (most people applying&being interviewed have them),if you can get them during com serve - do so.
